This booking is for the A2 CofC Course.

Included in the course fee:

  • One day theory course and examination.
  • Candidate materials.
  • Access to our library of Quick Reference Handbooks (available for most common aircraft) so you can demonstrate safe operation of drones.
  • Sandwich lunch on the theory day and tea/coffee etc.
  • On successful completion the following certificates will be issued:
    • A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC).
    • Global Drone Training presentation certificate.
  • A Global Drone Training Pro membership for 12 months following completion of the course. As a Pro member you receive exclusive Pro member discounts in our shop on aircraft, equipment, support services and software. It also includes access to the latest training resources, in-depth regulation explanations, premium help videos and guides, renewal reminders, email and telephone advice regarding your operations, and regulation updates. You can find out more about our Pro membership here.

To complete the course, as well as passing the theory exams, you must complete the CAA registration process to obtain a Flyer ID. You will also need to self-declare your practical competence in the use of drones. Details of how to do this will be explained on your course information page after booking. If you have little or no flying experience then we offer verification of your flying competence by an instructor as an optional extra. This is normally built into some customised flight training. If you would like more details then please contact the team or simply add one of our flight training packages to your order.
